Berkshire Hathaway's Charles Munger, Eitan Wertheimer, Warren Buffet, Stef Wertheimer [ out of picture ]
...
Lloyd: Israel Carbide, ISCAR; the company has been synonymous with Israel for its whole history. You were born four years after Israel was born. The company grew parallel to the state. What does selling out to Warren Buffet in 2006 mean in terms of Israel, or was it purely a business decision on your part?
Eitan: It wasn’t selling out. It was a basic idea of becoming part of something bigger, and happily that opportunity opened up. We wanted to secure our customers and our people for yet again another 50 years or more.

2006:

Billlionaire #317 Stef Wertheimer & family

Founded Iscar, one of the world's largest (by sales) manufacturers of carbide industrial-cutting tools, which are used by carmakers like GM and Ford. Son Eitan, who along with his wife owns Israel's largest horse-breeding stud farm, is Iscar's president. Stef Wertheimer also seeds high-tech Israeli startups through four industrial parks

In 2002 he testified before Congress about his idea for a "new Marshall Plan" that advocates U.S. funding to revitalize the Middle East, a plan he still champions in speeches across the world.

2008:

Billioinaire #222 Stef Wertheimer & family - 03.05.08

From one billionaire to another. In May 2006 Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway paid $4 billion for 80% of Iscar, the manufacturer of precision carbide metalworking tools founded by Stef Wertheimer in 1952. His son Eitan has continued to run the company with Buffett's support. Stef lobbies on behalf of his "Marshall Plan for the Middle East," based on the idea that industrial parks like one he has in the Galilee can bring peaceful coexistence by having Jews and Arabs work together. Also invested in a handful of other Israeli businesses, including Blades Technology, a maker of jet-engine blades.

Berkshire Hathaway's Charles Munger,[
http://www.charlesmunger.com/
Charles Thomas Munger is often considered Warren Buffet's partner since he is the Vice-Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Corporation, but he was an investor in his own right before joining Berkshire.
...
Charles T. Munger’s political views are different from Warren Buffet’s too. Buffet leans towards the left and contributed money to Barack Obamba’s campaign. Munger is a Republican

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Munger
Munger is also the chairman of Wesco Financial Corporation, based in Pasadena, California ... now controls Precision Steel Corp., CORT Furniture Leasing, Kansas Bankers Surety Company, and other ventures. Wesco Financial has an equity portfolio of over $1.5 billion dollars that is concentrated in Coca-Cola, Wells Fargo, Procter & Gamble, Kraft Foods, US Bancorp, and Goldman Sachs.

Also, according to Lindsey, and many other sources, the elite are of a 'different breed', speaking about how they are raised.  They truly believe that they are better than we are because of their family line and we are just 'muts' and worthless, "useless eaters".  I know there are a few exceptions to this way of thinking they have, but not many.
Kerry good take on that... we can only begin to imagine the scale of the divisons. Peons X Elites.

...The official reason was, and is, that the forefathers of most Americans from the Virginia and New York area emigrated from the British Isles, therefore they share a common heritage.

They are blood brothers so to speak. Of course, the obvious reason was to form an unofficial alliance with the United States to improve the strained relations and to vastly increase the powers of the dwindling British empire. The heart of the British empire and the later British Commonwealth became the Pilgrims Society, it’s philosophies dominated by the executives of the upcoming mega corporations, largely located in the City of London and the city of New York

The club is secret. It might be one of those ’open-secrets’, but it’s secret nonetheless. If it wasn’t, we would have read about it in the history books, we would know all the details of the meetings, and we would have membership lists in the public domain. It is possible to find quite a bit of information in regular newspaper archives, but you really have to look for it. It takes forever to piece the story together. For example, The Scotsman made numerous references to it in the first half of the century (archives are only available up to 1950 atm). Time Magazine made them much less, but still referred to the club once every few years. After 1958, Time only mentioned the club 2 or 3 times, even though meetings continued as usual. Other newspapers in the U.S., like the New York Times and the Washington Post have referred the Pilgrims at times.

http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/chc/wmy/Celebrities/martin_segal.html
Who Mentored Martin E. Segal?

For nearly half a century, Martin E. Segal has been a leader and major advocate for the arts and education in New York City.  He was Chairman of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts from 1981 to 1986 (Chairman Emeritus since 1986), and was the Founding President and CEO of The Film Society of Lincoln Center from 1968-1978 (President Emeritus since 1978). He has served on many other Boards and committees of major civic, cultural, health, and educational organizations, including The Graduate Center Foundation of The City University of New York, where he was Vice Chairman from 2003-2008.  He has received numerous awards and honors as well as seven honorary degrees.

In 1939, Martin Segal founded The Segal Company (international consultants and actuaries for employee benefit plans), serving as President until 1967, and as Chairman from 1967 to 1991. He was a partner in Wertheim & Co. investment firm from 1967 to 1982, and President (1972-1975) and Chairman (1975-1982) of Wertheim Asset Management Services.

I had two wonderful teachers. My English teacher, Dr. McNeil, knew that I was a reader and he had seen me in class several times -- apparently I wasn’t too difficult in class -- and he started giving me books to read, and got me enrolled in a public library not far from my apartment where we lived.

And I had an art teacher. I wanted to be a painter when I was a boy.  Fortunately, for the world and my family, I didn’t become one, but I was very interested in that. But my teacher, Virginia Murphy, who was the art teacher in Erasmus Hall High School, knew that I wasn’t talented, and instead of telling me that, she got me interested in things related to the arts. She got me interested in stage design and masks, puppets and so forth, about which I was pretty good. And later, after I left school, she became the head of arts education in the public schools of the city, and she became a friend. And she kept in touch with me, and I with her, right through the time I was married at age twenty.

The most important lesson I learned from her--I think it’s a reality-based judgment about not what you hope for or what you wish for, but what’s possible, and to deal realistically with a possibility. She knew I wasn’t talented and made me aware of that reality, and therefore opened the door to other possibilities.

Bill Gates Asks Families to Celebrate Immunization Week 2011

What do you know about immunization? You’ve ensured your children are vaccinated. But immunization is also about health interventions like providing vitamin supplements to improve children’s nutrition and distributing insecticide-treated nets to prevent malaria.

We all could stand to know more. Today, April 23, 2011, marks the kick off of Immunization Week!  In recognition of the importance of immunization in saving lives around the world, the World Health Organization (WHO) is uniting regions from Africa to the Americas for a week of raising awareness, getting involved, and sharing information.

In a statement released today, Bill Gates shares his passion for the work that WHO and partners are doing to save lives:

“This week, the World Health Organization is focusing global attention on vaccines. These simple, low-cost tools can save the lives of an estimated 1.4 million children each year and prevent thousands more from paralysis and disability. Vaccines are one of the best long-term investments to prevent disease and give children a healthy start to life.

I hope that families everywhere will help celebrate Immunization Week by joining community activities to raise awareness of the value of vaccines because, simply put, vaccines save lives.”

If you’d like to take Bill up on his suggestion, visit Immunization Week 2011. Find out how you can get involved in educating your own community on the importance of immunization.

It's so nice to know that Bill Gates, along with the people he is praising at the WHO (UN) do not think that the world is overpopulated, and instead they are trying to save lives. With people like them on our sides, world hunger and disease should soon be a thing of the past!

I hope you are being sarcastic, because Bill is a eugenicist and does in fact believe there are too many people. He said, "if we do a really good job with health care and vaccinations" we can bring population under control.

oh yeah, that was sarcasm. Sadly, I don't think that hunger and disease will be a thing of the past any time soon. We've got farmers going out of business, and people starving to death, I can't figure out how more people don't say that something doesn't add up.

Quote
A couple months ago, I was in India with Bill, and we went back into this slum area to see a little girl, Hashmin, who had contracted polio. It was a terrible thing against this worldwide, very muscular effort going on to rid the world of polio.

I can remember as a father thinking about the possibility of my children getting polio. No parent thinks about that anymore because it doesn't happen. The trip in India was the first time I'd been on an overseas (foundation) trip with Bill. It was something he organized and we had his two sisters along as well.

What, the trip or the outbreak and spread of polio via vaccines?

I found it very interesting that Rockefellers, Gates are going to India and that nuclear bunkers are being built there.  I was watching India news (per chance eating in an Indian restaurant) and it was a big deal that a warship from India pulled into New York Harbor.

It was "Breaking News."

Love, e

How interestingly ironic..

Let's assume the US economy crashes soon. Of course, the US's power would dramatically wane... China may then decide to get a bit froggy and who's right next door?

Bill Gates Asks Families to Celebrate Immunization Week 2011

http://www.who.int/immunization/newsroom/newsstory_immunization_week_180_countries/en/index.html
About 180 countries and territories celebrate Immunization Week

1 April 2011 - This year, for the first time, Immunization Week brings together about 180 countries and territories across five WHO regions ― Africa, Americas, Eastern Mediterranean, Europe and the Western Pacific. Starting 23 April, various events and activities will take place to boost awareness of immunization and improve community demand for vaccines and delivery of services. Four out of the five regions have developed themes around this year's event:

African Vaccination Week ― Put mothers and children first; vaccinate and stop polio now
Vaccination Week in the Americas ― Vaccinate your family, protect your community
Vaccination Week in the Eastern Mediterranean ― Partnership for immunization
European Immunization Week ― Shared solutions to common threats

Countries will implement a wide range of activities including dissemination of information; training sessions and workshops for health workers; exhibitions; round table discussions with political decision makers, medical professionals, parents, and caregivers; and vaccination campaigns to protect vulnerable populations against diseases such as diphtheria, hepatitis B, influenza, measles, mumps, maternal and neonatal tetanus, polio, rubella, whooping cough and yellow fever.

"Yet, with all the positive cooperation, innovation and collaboration that exist, we are at risk of losing many of the gains that have been made and forgoing the additional benefits that are within reach.

For example, the recent outbreaks of measles, pertussis and polio in different parts of the world have made us all the more aware of the work that remains to be done," said WHO Director-General Dr Margaret Chan. "I believe Immunization Week will have a significant impact on emphasizing the need to remain vigilant against vaccine-preventable diseases – even those that we do not see within our communities."

It is interesting that it maybe possible that Deep mines may also used as Nuclear proof bunkers...
http://www.ucil.gov.in/web/Papers-Sarangi/Emerging%20trend%20in%20U%20mining.pdf

Jaduguda Mine: Jaduguda is the first mine in the country to produce uranium ore in a commercial scale. In this deposit, two parallel lodes extend from surface up to a depth of 905 m, which may also persist deeper. The mineralization is structurally controlled being confined to shears.

The entry into the mine is through a vertical shaft  of 640 m deep, which was sunk in two stages - from surface to 315 m and then from 315 m to 640 m. The mine has been further deepened by sinking an underground vertical shaft from a depth of 555 m to 905 m.

Both the shafts are equipped with two tower mounted multi-rope friction winders - the Cage winder and the Skip winder. Double deck cages are used for movement of men and material and for hoisting of waste rock. Skips with a payload of 5 tonne are used for hoisting of ore. Levels are generally developed at vertical intervals of 65 meters. The principal stoping method adopted in Jaduguda Mine is horizontal cut-and-fill using de-slimed mill tailing as the fill.

Jaduguda mine is presently the deepest operating mine of the country.

2003:

India building nuclear-proof bunkers for top leaders  By   IANS  23 September 2003,
NEW DELHI: The Indian government has begun building several hi-tech bunkers to enable its top leadership, including Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, to survive a possible nuclear attack, official sources said.

Location of the three India Bunkers:

The move to build the bunkers, including one near the South Block, an imposing red sandstone building that houses the prime minister's office and the defence and external affairs ministries, was reportedly cleared at the first meeting of the Nuclear Command Authority on September 1.
...
A second bunker for protecting the cabinet will be built within a 400 km radius from New Delhi, and the government is scouting sites in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh where the cabinet can be flown easily from the capital, the sources said.

Work on a third bunker within the prime minister's official residence at 7, Race Course Road here is also believed to be under way.

Besides Vajpayee, the bunker near South Block is meant to protect key members of his cabinet, including Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani, External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha, Finance Minister Jaswant Singh and Defence Minister George Fernandes, all of whom have offices in the South Block or the nearby North Block.
